Why I want to take part?
I am excited to take part because I know what it is like to desperately search for answers regarding my own health, while also facing stigma and shame surrounding my PCOS symptoms. I hope that through this programme we can educate and empower women to take control of their health and find the answers they seek!!
What leadership means to me?
Leadership means enabling and empowering others to reach their full potential. True leadership is not hierarchical, rather a collaborative process in which individual talents are bolstered in pursuit of a common goal.
Fun or surprising fact/story?
Prior to moving to England, I was part of a competitive karaoke league (so many costumes!) in Washington, DC. At the start of quarantine, I recreated Queen’s “I Want to Break Free” music video shot-for-shot and ended up winning the competition and the title of “Most Likely to Form a One-Woman Band.”
