Why I want to take part?
I want to take part because I think representation is important – especially from an intersectional perspective. I want to learn more about this condition that’s more likely to affect people that look like me, and I want to be an advocate in the future in relation to mental and physical health, and the diaspora.
What leadership means to me?
Leadership means leading from the front, leading with heart, with integrity and with an informed approach.
Fun or surprising fact/story?
I used to always call myself an academic and never a creative when I was younger.. but I sing and write poetry, and opinion pieces in my spare time 😊
