Why I want to take part?
There is a lot of stigma and misunderstanding around women’s health conditions like PCOS, partly because of the limited research in this area. I want to take part firstly to educate myself on PCOS, which I was recently diagnosed with. I also want to help other women in my community to be confident in their own skin and realize that we are much more than a diagnosis!
What leadership means to me?
Leadership isn’t about making all the decisions and asserting authority over others. It is about working alongside your team members towards a shared goal, and being a constant source of motivation and support when they need it.
Fun or surprising fact/story?
I started teaching myself a new language, Spanish, during lockdown and I’m thoroughly enjoying it so far! I can also understand and speak (to some extent) French, German and Hindi.
